"...her characters' humorous sparring makes this boisterous mix of romance and skullduggery an engrossing read." Publishers Weekly
Kate Bridges' first novel was published in 2002. Prior to becoming a full-time writer, she worked in the medical field. Later she studied architecture and design, which led her to a job as a researcher and writer for a TV design show, where she got the writing bug. Now, Kate uses her research skills in penning her own novels.
Her books have been honored with several awards and distinctions. These include the USA TODAY Bestseller List, Borders National Bestseller List, CataRomance Reviewers' Choice Award, Barclay Gold Best Historical of the Year, RT Magazine nominations for Best Historical Hero of the Year and Best Historical Western of the Year, Top Picks on fan websites, and Recommended Reading on national library lists.
Kate's novels have been studied in over a dozen colleges in their commercial fiction writing courses. They've been translated into many languages, and sold worldwide in twelve countries. Kate lives in the beautiful city of Toronto with her family.
